New Looks new beauty range!

So, New Look have released a new beauty range called 'Pure' and I actually think it's pretty good. They have a huge range of nail varnishes, eye shadow palettes, eyebrow pencils, lipsticks, glosses and perfumes. I've bought two nail varnishes, Shell Pink - 72 and Light Grey - 08. They're both pretty neutral colours, so they're super versatile which is what I love about them. I'm not hugely into the hot pinks and neon oranges. I'm currently wearing Shell Pink and it's a really easy application, not gooey or lumpy it just glides on your nails and it doesn't take ages to dry, about 2/3 minutes. I haven't actually applied a over coat yet however it hasn't chipped at all which I'm impressed about!

Moving onto the Perfumes, I think they have four to choose from. I chose 'Pure Devotion'. I think it's a really attractive smell (does that even make sense?!), It kind of smells a bit like Chanel no5. It doesn't smell cheap at all. However it doesn't last all day, so you will probably have to apply a second time to keep the smell all day. They're all quite light, floral smells and for only £7.99, I might go any buy another!

Definitely go and check out their new beauty range!

Spontaneous make up purchase

Good evening! So, earlier on I went on a dog walk with my mum as it was such a lovely evening. It felt so nice and autumnal, which I've been looking forward to for ages now! I think I was tired of cami tops, bright colours and strappy dresses at least a month ago now, i'm so ready for roll neck jumpers, statement coats and chunky scarves. Anyway, way off subject, after the dog walk we popped into boots to buy the benefit mascara for a family friends 18th. They had a deal on that if you buy two benefit products you get a mini goodie bag full of benefit testers. Obviously we had to do that, so it was up to me to purchase something from benefit, which wasn't difficult.. it was a toss up between 'Gimme Brow' or their new cream blush 'Majorette'. I decided to go for Majorette as I have been looking for a cream blush for ages and the girl at the benefit counter had it on and it looked lovely. It was £23.50 which is pretty standard for a benefit product. I've tried it and I think I really like it. You can wear it over or under powder but I think it looks better under. It adds a really nice pinkish glow on your cheeks, it kind of almost acts as a slight highlighter. What you can also do it put it on the crease of your eyes, and it adds a really pretty brightening effect. All in all, a pretty good buy. Annnnnnd it was spontaneous which makes it better and more exciting. (lol)
